aka OJT. Me together with Geexie, Jen, Wee, and Von applied for summer internship here at SEAMEO INNOTECH ( Yup, I’m blogging straight from our office). And this is our last week. Five weeks of knowing how to manage a library especially the technical aspect of our profession. Its been five weeks full of fun while learning to do stuffs. Four days til we say our goodbyes to our beloved LRC. Haish, sad. Kuya Jelo, our supervisor, has been so kind and understanding to us. We were lucky to have him as our supervisor. We also are grateful to SEAMEO INNOTECH for accepting us as their OJTs this summer. From the P60/8hrs pay, free and fast WiFi, meal subsidy, insurance, and for pampering us all throughout our stay. Maraming Salamat po! Sa uulitin!

Thank you rin po for everything! Maraming kaming natutunan sa pag-OJT namin jan… Kung pwede kaming umulit ng OJT sa LRC gagawin namin. Waah! Nakakasad ung kanina pero dinaan ko na lang sa tawa! Dami kong mamimiss!

Dear Pinay Librarian,
After reading your blog entry, I felt so teary-eyed and sad. Overcoming my own grief though, I want to say thank you for being part of our center. Thanks for the service and the interest in working with us and Kudos to all of you for a Job well done! As your oh so gorgeous yet so humble supervisor always says, keep on learning. Keep on practicing the profession. Keep on being proud for you’re a librarian and Keep on having some fun while you are in the position. Working in real life is totally different but it’s damn challenging. I hope we were able to train you and be able to impart in you the feel of how and what it is like working.
Good luck sa Thesis and sa future Career!
We’re just one foot-brige away!
